Kor's wedding

It's a very special day today. It's my kor's wedding- a once in a life time event.

Early morning about 6.30am, kor was already awake walking all around the house. By the time i rbsuhed my teeth, he was already in his formal attire and waiting for his "brothers" to arrive. The brothers arrived at our house -decorated with fowers and red 喜喜- at about 7am, and after staying a while and playing with Bobby, they headed off for Say Bin's house *Say Bin, my new sister-n-law*

Yukifumi came at about 9.30am... and helped us paint our figne nails as well as 0ut on ake up. Really thanks~ learnt alot today. Our relatives from Malaysia and Singapore both came. Only the more imporant Malaysian relatives came, since they would be another dinner banquet in Msia next sunday.

Mapled for some time before kor came back with his bride. Say Bin wore a beautiful whte gown with beads on the dress. She's tall and very slim, and thus very pretty. Kor wore a black/blue shiny suit.

According to chinese traditional custome, we had to turn away from tje bride when she entered the house, s mapled in our room again...

Then went out agian to see them 敬茶to dad, mom, and our uncles and aunts.

Finally, miyabi and i got to 敬茶to kor and our sis-in-law. Of ourse we both got 2 red packets each from them.

Went back to mapling abit.. while the bride adn room changed into the 'kua'. Say Bin changed into a pretty red chinese traditonal 'kua', while kor wore a white suit, comething that you'll see from 上海滩。

Add buffet lunch that we ordered.... then kor and Say Bin went over tot heir new house with their "brothers" and "sisters". Miyabi and i served some food from the buffet over to our closer neighbours.

Then our relatives and parents went over to Kor's nwe home also, leaving just Yukifumi, Bobby, miyabi and i at home.

Rest for a few hours....

Then Yukifumi helped us apply some make up again.... there was still the dinner part to go.

Agin, much thansk to Yukifumi, for helping me, miyabi and my mom to put on nice makeup...

Headed to Carlton at about 6pm. When we reached, the recception had barely started. Went up to the 22th floor to Kor's suite where Say Bin's make up artist was doing her hair, very nice~!

Then went down again when guests were beginnign to stream in... very tiring...in fact my back is breaking as i sit here to type.

Antoher hour passed by, finally the doors tot he banquet hall were opene and miyabi and mine responsibilies were to escort our relatives and guests over to their seats...

Here comes an annoying part...

An aunt and her family were supposed to sit with us at the bride and groom's table... which was table 34.

I went in with them, asked 2 waiters who were standing there staring about, where was table 34... they stared around then drifted off...

@##%%*^#%#!?!!!!!

What the heck?\

Figuring that the bride and groom'st able should be closer tot he stage, i walked over with my aunt's family to the stage, where two special tables were covered in red table cloth, *the normal ones were covered with white table cloth*, without a doubt, one table was for our family the other was for Say Bin's family- just that i didn't know which was for who.

So this round i asked a waitress wich was table 34.

She looked araound and saw 33 and 35..but she just couldn't see 34 *of course, because the two red tables didn't have number tags on them*, adn then replied that the table was probably very behind..

i told her it was either one of the red tables...she stared abck in disbelief... as if we weren't supposed to sit at the table...i stood there for like half a mintue before she moved off to check witht eh manager or somone tlike that...

finally she came back and said: "oo, that's super vip seat which is right over here"* points to the table i've been asking about*

grrrr.......

but well, the table was pretty...

the dinner was splendid. it was beautifully organised...

I'm too tied to recall. miyabi would probably do a better job, or tmr morning i may give a more discriptive entry on the dinner.

For now, got to bath.
